Fairings (Caps)
«Atlant Optics» specializes in manufacturing polished fairings (hemispheres and hyperspheres) from glass and crystals for surveillance, tracking, and protective systems. We produce fairings for operation in various spectral ranges.
Depending on the operating spectrum, fairings are made of quartz glass (QG) or sapphire for UV, visible and near-IR, and zinc selenide (ZnSe) for mid-wave and far-IR.
We make fairings from the following materials: CVD-ZnSe (zinc selenide), CVD-ZnS (zinc sulfide), sapphire (leucosapphire), Si (silicon), Ge (germanium), CaF2 (calcium fluoride), BaF2 (barium fluoride), MgF2 (magnesium fluoride), LiF (lithium fluoride), glass and quartz glass.
